Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information verschat collects, how we use it, and how we protect it when you use our service, including when you connect Google Workspace services.

This information is provided for transparency and is not legal advice. Have qualified counsel review documents for your jurisdiction.

1. Information we collect

We collect account information such as your name and email, prompts, files and other content you submit, saved chat history, product and security usage data, billing records, and support messages. We collect only the information needed to provide, secure, support, and administer the service.

2. Google user data we access

  • Google account basic profile information, including your email address, to identify and display the connected account.
  • Gmail message metadata and content needed when you use Gmail as a source, plus permission to send an email only after you review and confirm it in the AI Email Generator.
  • Google Calendar read-only event titles, times, locations, and details needed to answer a request you make using Calendar as a source.
  • Google Drive read-only file names, metadata, and supported document or text content needed to answer a request you make using Drive as a source.
  • Google Sheets read-only spreadsheet metadata and values needed to answer a request you make using Sheets as a source.

3. How we use Google user data

A Google connection requests read-only access to Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, and Google Sheets. Connecting Gmail also requests permission to send email through Gmail. We access connected content only after your OAuth consent, retrieve content for a chat only when you enable the relevant Google source, and send a message only after you review its recipients and content in the AI Email Generator confirmation popup.

We use Google user data solely to provide the user-facing connected-app feature you request: finding relevant content and using it as context to generate your answer. We do not use Google user data for advertising, retargeting, personalized marketing, analytics, profiling, credit or lending decisions; sell it; transfer it to data brokers; create a generalized user-data database; or develop, improve, or train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.

verschat' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Google data sharing and AI processing

When you enable a Google source and submit a prompt, we transfer only the relevant content and necessary prompt context to our AI routing and model service providers solely to generate the answer you requested. Those requests are configured to deny provider data collection and to use zero-data-retention endpoints. The content may not be retained by those providers or used to train their models.

We do not share Google user data with advertising, marketing, or analytics providers. Human access is limited to cases where you give permission, where it is necessary for security or abuse investigation, or where the law requires it.

5. Storage, retention, and deletion

We store encrypted Google OAuth access and refresh tokens, connected-account identifiers, granted scopes, and token expiration information while your Google connection is active. Retrieved Google content is processed for the requested chat and is not stored as a separate searchable database. A generated answer, including information you asked the service to include, may remain in your saved chat history until you delete it.

Disconnecting a Google integration removes all stored Google OAuth tokens and connected-account metadata from the active database. You can also revoke verschat' access in your Google Account permissions. You may delete saved chats or request account deletion through support. Limited backup, billing, security, or legal records may be retained only where required and are removed according to the applicable retention schedule.

6. How we use other information

  • Provide the service operate chats, document generation, image tools, account access, integrations, and saved history.
  • Secure and support the service verify sessions, prevent abuse, investigate errors, respond to support requests, and enforce service policies.
  • Administer billing manage subscriptions, invoices, credits, cancellations, and billing support.

7. Other service providers

For information other than Google user data, we may use infrastructure, authentication, email, analytics, AI, support, and payment providers where needed to operate, secure, and support the service. Google user data is governed by the stricter limitations described above and is never provided to advertising or analytics services.

8. Security and your choices

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information in transit and at rest. You can disconnect integrations, delete saved chats, or request access, correction, export, or deletion of your account data through support, subject to limited legal, billing, and security retention requirements.
